I''ve always been a fan of Taurus pistols. They are very reliable, and very reasonable. Just picked this pistol up because I have been wanting a compact for concealed carry. Took it to the range and put two boxes of factory ammo through it and it performed flawlessly. I would definitely recommend taking it apart cleaning and lubing it first. They come jammed full of a assembly lube which is great for corrosion prevention but not lubrication. It is accurate. This is my first striker DOA pistol so the trigger is different for me but had a 4-5 group at 15 yards. I have medium to large hands and the grips feel comfortable. All around great pistol especially for under $400. I just need to wait for my holsters to come in and see which works best.

I own several handguns and I have tried them all for CCW carry. The Taurus PT145 keeps coming back as the favorite. It is well built and looks great too. I like the fact that with one in the chamber I can carry 11 rounds of .45 ACP. The gun is reasonably priced so I can acquire other guns as well. Shoots great, took an NRA class shot 300 rounds through it without a hiccup. Rides really well in my Crossbreed holster all day. Great gun.

A lot of kick and power for compact size. It is perfect for back-up or CCW. Have had no issues with the PT145 ACP. Shoot several hundred rounds with no glitches. Key is to keep clean and well lubed]with gun oil that is[.

Great gun so far. Took it to the range and put 200 rounds through it, no jams or misfires and I used the cheapest ammo I could find.
