Taurus International
In 1980, Taurus International purchased the Beretta factory in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In this purchase they acquired all the equipment, staff, and designs necessary to manufacture a number of firearms, most notably the famous Beretta 92. Starting with the original design, Taurus improved on it immensely, resulting in the Taurus PT-92 Pistol. These additions include a drop hammer forged ordnance grade alloy frame for increased strength and a three-position frame-mounted ambidextrous safety. Overall, the Taurus PT-92 is an excellent pistol necessary for these modern times.

Looks good, a lot cheaper than to do up Beretta. However the grip is for a large hand unlike the Beretta which myself I have medium sized hands and shoot the Beretta for years in service so I can feel the difference and its a big difference, all large sized Taurus models without the size reduction grips are large. It looks great on the wall or desk or at the range but its no Beretta. Worth the money. Crash

good shooter, long trigger pull, clean ejection of spent shells, but best all just plain full to shoot
