The kit installs easily as they represented. Sig recommends high velocity rounds so I bought CCI Stingers and Velocitors after trying Remington champions. Got occasional miss fires and jams. With either. Slide may have been binding because of sticky original packing grease in the rail slot guides. Cleaned it thoroughly applied light oil. Have to see that helps or if it needs some breakin time. Slide doesn''''t lock back after the mag is empty. So the book isn''''t closed on whether it was worth the price. The extra mags are expensive and kit only comes with one.

This conversion seems to function flawlessly with any high speed ammunition. I dont like plastic magazines. The magazine came with a chip out of the retaining notch, but it works. The instructions that came with the kit failed to mention that the rear sight was secured with two small allen screws (wrench provided). My rear sight was way off to the left. Luckily I figured out the allen screws before I drifted the sight back to center.
Don''t buy this kit to sharpen your skills with the centerfire ammunition/pistol. The aluminum slide/plastic magazine makes it about half a pound lighter and an entirely different pistol. But it is a fun pistol and cheap to shoot. And it is still a Sig.
